The Milwaukee District Nurses Association (MDNA) promotes the practice of professional nursing and serves as a forum for collaboration, education, and support for nurses across greater Milwaukee. Members actively support issues of importance to nurses in our area. Working in conjunction with the Wisconsin Nurses Association and the American Nurses Association, the MDNA is recognized as the local chapter of your professional nursing association.

All members are invited to attend monthly board meetings, typically held the first Wednesday of each month from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Wheaton Franciscan-Wauwatosa Campus, 201 North Mayfair Road, Room 1AB. MDNA Call for Nominations!!...

The Milwaukee District Nurses Association (MDNA) is seeking dedicated volunteers to serve on their board. All terms are two year commitments and elections will occur in March. There will be elections for the following positions:

President: This is a 2 year term (2012-2014). The president chairs MDNA meetings and executive board meetings. The president will also serve as a representative of the MDNA at all Wisconsin Nurse Association (WNA) meetings.

Secretary: This is a 2 year term (2012-2014). The requirements for this position are to keep the minutes for MDNA meetings and complete/submit the Annual Report to the Department of Financial Institutions.

Programs: This is a 2 year term (2012-2014). This position is responsible for planning general membership meetings and programs. This includes coordinating the annual Spring Banquet.

Public Relations: This is a 2 year term (2012-2014). The responsibility of this position include: working with membership chair to plan recruitment goals, increase visibility of MDNA, and updating the MDNA web site.

Nominations Committee: This is a 2 year term (2012-2014). This position works with other nominations committee members to encourage participation in MDNA by recruiting board members and organizing the yearly board elections.
